libmatrixssl1.8-dev software package provides small SSL library optimized for embedded systems (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmatrixssl1.8-dev
libmatrixssl1.8-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmatrixssl1.8-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmatrixssl1.8-dev *
You will get with libmatrixssl1.8-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
